What Approval Rating Does My Judge Have?

Use our approval rating tool to find out what percentage of hearings your assigned judge approves for benefits.  The national average is 54% so you can compare to find out if your judge is more or less favorable than the average.

“Fully Favorable” means the judge approved the disability claim with the onset date that was asked for.  “Partially Favorable” typically means the judge approved the claim with a different onset date.  In those circumstances, the back pay for the approved client is less than they were asking for.

Some judges have hearings out of multiple offices.  If you see a result where a judge approved 100% of the hearings or a very high percentage, that likely means they have only had a few hearings out of that location.  In that scenario, that number is not a good representation of the judges actual approval rate.
